Abstract
As this book concentrates on gynaecological endrocrinology, the endocrinology of pregnancy is only covered briefly. It will not deal with the obstetric management of endocrine disorders. However the golden rule to be observed in all these cases is:
The best possible control should be obtained prior to conception and maintained throughout pregnancy for the best fetal outcome.
