Abstract

Henry Reed was born in Birmingham and educated there at King Edward VI School and at the University. He worked as a broadcaster from 1945 and published collections of his plays for radio: The Streets of Pompeii (verse dramas, 1971) and Hilda Tablet and Others (1971). A Map of Verona (1946) is his only book of verse.
