Abstract

Where traffic flows are small then the control of traffic movements at intersections may be achieved by priority control. As has been discussed previously the form of priority control in this country is that minor road vehicles give way to major road vehicles. On the continent of Europe nearside priority is used where vehicles give way to traffic approaching from the right while in Australia off-side priority is used.
