Abstract

Within Malaysian manufacturing industry, attempts to contain labor are very often already put into gear even before workers join the production line. To ensure that only certain types of worker are taken in, larger corporations such as transnational textile and electronic factories have set criteria for age, sex, working experience and marital status in their choice of applicants.
