Abstract

Our final task is twofold: first, to reflect on the concrete achievements of extra-parliamentary protest within the context of mainstream politics in the Federal Republic; and secondly, to sketch out a structural framework enabling us to speculate on the significance of these developments for the political culture of West Germany.
