Abstract
We can expect electronics to be the key to the military capabilities of the future. Electronics enables us to move into a variety of new areas: increase in computational ability, smaller size and weight, price level at about onetenth of what circuits cost today, and at least fifteen times faster. Such equipment will allow us to put real ‘smarts’ into small packages. True launch-and-leave weapons will be one of the results.
