Abstract

Mensuration is concerned with the measurement of areas and volumes of triangles, rectangles, circles, and other figures, and some basic knowledge of this subject is required by all quantity surveying students. This chapter sets out to explain how the principles of mensuration are used in the measurement of building quantities.
