New Lines of Research on the Question of Full Employment

Our discussions over the last few days have dealt with the identification of ‘Barriers to Full Employment’. But recognising them does not solve them; further research is necessary. Since the problem of unemployment involves a major part of economic theory the field is so wide that my choice of topics for future research will be of necessity subjective, but I hope not arbitrary. I shall take my cue from various contributions and try to relate them to each other.
