Abstract

The largest and most rapidly developing area of organometallic chemistry, with numerous research papers, reviews, books and conferences devoted to it, is that of application to organic chemistry. Catalytic uses of organometallic compounds are dealt with in chapter 9, but here we discuss the use of these compounds as reagents and intermediates.
