Abstract
If there is one day in your life when you want to be a knock-out, it’s your wedding day. But there is so much to organise and never enough time to plan it all, that sometimes things are more of a chore than a pleasure. The key to a successful countdown to the big day is planning. Start by preparing hair weeks in advance, getting rid of split ends, scurf, old perm and colour, and growing hair longer if it is to be put up. Enlist your stylist’s help in finding the right style and take along the headdress you’ll wear, if any, plus a sketch of the dress, to create a total picture. Witnesses and bridesmaids should be in on the arrangements if they are to wear complementary styles and colours. Book a series of appointments for major members of the wedding party.
