Abstract
Imagine a world without colour, everything in shades of black and white. You can’t really, can you? Colour fills our field of vision everywhere we look — in our food, our clothes; at work, at play; blues, yellows, pinks, browns, greens … colours are all around. Colour is a vital part of our existence and without it our lives would be immeasurably poorer. No more blue skies, yellow sun, green meadows. No more stopping at red traffic lights or not parking on yellow lines either! Nature provided the base colours and we have expanded upon them so that we now actually communicate with each other in colour terms of reference.
