Abstract

In Chapter 9 we identified the concept of negotiability, and examined some of the negotiable instruments by looking at the law which governs their use. In this chapter we need to examine the characteristics of some of these instruments more closely, and especially the cheque which is of course the main negotiable instrument used today.
