Abstract
In carrying out the primary aim of the charter to promote by all reasonable means the interests of journalists and journalism, the Institute has faced change when the evolving techniques of the profession have demanded it, but one aspect that has remained paramount over the years is the maintenance and protection of freedom of the Press.
