Sexual Harassment and Assaults

Abstract

Sexual harassment at work is nothing new for women workers. They have had to put up with the unwelcome attention of men in the past for fear of being spoilsports. Of course, those who do it say it livens up the daily routine of work. After all, they say, it’s nothing more than harmless fun, only natural when men and women work together, but that is not a view shared by most women. Sex in the office, factory or hospital, the subject of lurid cracks by music hall comedians, is now a joke that has long since lost its humour.
