The Need for Management in District Health Care

  • Chapter
District Health Care

Abstract

People working at District level in many countries are now frequently faced with the task of putting a national Primary Health Care policy into action. Sometimes detailed plans exist as, for example, in Ghana, the Sudan or India; but in many other countries there is no detailed plan. Many problems are being experienced and the object of this book is to identify the ways in which some of these problems can be tackled. The book is intended for anyone who can identify with any of the issues in table 1.1.
