Abstract
Some years ago a major international oil company conducted an advertising campaign which suggested that when you bought their petrol it was equivalent to putting a tiger in the tank of your car. T. Eiger (Fruit Drinks) Ltd is now using the same slogan but this time it is their fruit drinks which young people are being encouraged to buy. The drinks are made up of various fruit juices but they are vitamin enriched and so — according to the accompanying advertising material — a drink of Teiger (pronounced tiger) will help them to break world records in every sport from mountaineering to long-distance running.
