Abstract
Field social workers in Hillingdon are based in four area offices, in Hayes, Ruislip, Uxbridge and West Drayton, and in the Social Work Departments at Hillingdon, Mount Vernon, Harefield and St Vincent’s Hospitals. St Bernard’s Hospital in the neighbouring Borough of Ealing has a catchment area which includes part of Hillingdon and a small team of Hillingdon social workers is therefore based there.
