Abstract
AIMS OF EXERCISE: to assist students in appreciating the procedures involved in question and questionnaire design; to produce a questionnaire; by collecting and analysing data (i.e. by piloting the questionnaire), to be able to redraft unsatisfactory questions (and answer formats); to examine simple hypotheses about relationships between variables.
