Abstract

The synchronising pulse separator circuit produces a train of relatively large amplitude rectangular pulses from the composite video waveform. The input to the circuit is from one of the video (luminance) amplifier stages. The separated pulses, after further processing, are then available for synchronising the receiver time bases with the scanning action of the transmitter camera tube.
