Abstract

In this chapter we shall be considering what might be called the power-house of man — his motivation. The kind of questions we shall be trying to answer will concern matters such as ‘What makes a person feel hungry or thirsty?’, and ‘What makes him turn his head as an attractive member of the opposite sex walks past ?’ Essentially we shall be considering what fuels these activities, how the process takes place and how it is aimed in a particular direction.
