Abstract
Array structures are the most common form of data structure and are familiar to most programmers. Arrays in programming languages originated from the mathematical concept. In mathematics a set of related variables a1, a2, …, an is referred to as the vector a, in programming such a structure is known as an array and would be declared in Algol as array a [1: n].
