Abstract

I have produced a framework for analysing a particular sequence of neighbourhood decline and I have also described the historical development of the ‘problem’ area of Luke Street. But my main concern in this study is to illustrate the connections between the various policy decisions and perspectives affecting Luke Street and adolescent delinquency in the neighbourhood. It is now therefore necessary to turn to an analysis of the official delinquency rates of the area.
