Synchronous Sequential Systems

The formal basis and development of combinational-logic design and asynchronous design have been discussed in previous chapters. In this chapter attention is given to the design of clocked or synchronous systems. Extensive use of medium- and large-scale integration in logic systems is encouraged in this design procedure.
