We have seen how the English legal system works and how it fits into and underpins the system of government. But some questions of a general nature remain. What does liability under the law mean? What is meant by the law? To what extent can liability be incurred for acts done by others? Is it possible to limit liability under the law? How can liability be proved, in legal terms?
