Abstract
The previous chapter looked at ways of summarizing data by producing frequency tables. However, often the most striking way of summarizing information is with a graph. A graph provides a quick visual sense of the main features of the data. The particular graphs that can be constructed in any given context are determined largely by the level of measurement (Table 3.1).
