Treatment Selection

  • Chapter
Road Maintenance Management

Abstract

The use of standard rules for treatment selection ensures that a consistent approach is taken to planning and specifying works throughout the road administration. This helps to ensure that funds are spent to greatest effect, and that each road and part of the network receives its fair share of the budget. The rules should reflect the standards and intervention levels defined in the policy framework.
