Abstract

Manufacturing system concepts today are two-pronged: one concept directs to the highly automatized system on the extension of the computer-integrated flexible manufacturing and the other is of human-centered type, involving the “Multiple Ethnic Cooperation Type” as its upmost leading one. In the later case, at issue is the objective product. The Region- and Racial Trait-Harmonized Product (R2HP) is considered as an potential concept. This concept has so far been proposed based on forerunning investigations of such products. Assuming the R2HP as to be an expectable product in the future society, this paper deals with the clarification of the essential and characteristic features in design attributes of the R2HP, emphasizing the hierarchical features within it. In addition, leading attributes of the R2HP are in close relation to culture, mindset andracial trait facets, and thus, the paper touches on the conversion concept of such ambiguous factors to technological quantified specifications.
