Summary

In this paper, the research is concentrated on modelling and simulation for large-scale hydraulic system. The “grey box” modelling method suitable to the modelling and simulation of large-scale hydraulic system is put forward and developed by authors. Many problems are systematically analysed and solved, such as the principle of the “grey box” method, the topological analysis of the system, the conditional equation of nodes, the identification of parameters and the composition of the general model of the whole system from submodels. The program package of modelling and digital simulation for hydraulic system (PMDSHS) is developed and completed by authors. By means of the “grey box” method and PMDSHS, the modelling and simulation of the hydraulic system of the 1000J hydraulic hammer is performed.
