Abstract
In C++ every item of data is considered to be of a specific type. For example, numbers such as 4 and 37 are examples of integers, whereas 6.75 and 2.5 are examples of real numbers. Different data types are stored and manipulated differently within the machine. Consequently, we must define the type of each identifier whenever we declare it in a program.
