The Financial System

  • Peter Curwen
Chapter
Part of the Macmillan Texts in Economics book series (TE)

Abstract

This chapter is concerned with all aspects of the financial system bar the banks. However, the separation between banks and non-banks is becoming increasingly artificial, and many of the comments in the latter part of this chapter necessarily refer to the financial system as a whole.
