Abstract
-
Parents name their child at the local temple.
-
A monk sprinkles it with water while blessing it for a happy life.
-
A pure wax candle is lit and the molten wax allowed to fall into a bowl of water to symbolise the union of the four elements. This symbolises the harmony the child will aim for during this life.
