Abstract
Describing and making assumptions about the personalities of others is something we all do in everyday life. Phrases such as ‘She has lots of personality’ and ‘He has no personality’ are typically used. In a psychological sense, however, these phrases are meaningless. All people have a personality and they differ not in the amount, but in the kind of personality they have.
