When looking for organisations to illustrate the points raised in the book, my first choice was Avis Europe. I have followed events at Avis for almost ten years now, and everytime I meet an Avis representative, there is more to learn. The organisations in this section are listed alphabetically, but it is appropriate that Avis comes first. In my opinion it can claim to be one of the best managed companies in the world.
