Abstract
Much of this book has been devoted to directives about ways of speaking, reading, writing, making sense of words and putting them in sensible constructions. Now is the time to invite you to look a little wider. References to the complete range of human activities are to be found, stored conveniently, on the open shelves of any medium-sized public library.
