Abstract

This chapter will introduce you to the various output methods and devices that are available on computer systems. The overall aim of any output system should be to provide the right information to the right people (or machines) at the right time and place. The choice of output system for any given application will depend on speed, cost, reliability, quality and quietness (for printers).
