Abstract
In addition to the financial providers already described, a number of other specialist organisations exist to meet the critical finance needs of commerce and industry. Among these, are the various finance houses which offer leasing and hire purchase facilities. These meet two different needs, namely:
-
the financing of capital equipment and buildings needed by firms in order to engage in the production of goods and services;
-
the provision of finance to customers to enable them to purchase those products from the firms selling them.
