Abstract
Home processing of both colour and black and white film is perfectly possible for the amateur given reasonable working conditions, the main difference being that time, temperature and agitation control with colour is much more critical. However, colour processing and printing would require a book on its own to do it justice so we will concentrate here on the slightly easier black and white. It pays to become proficient in black and white before moving onto colour, as all of the skills learned will be taken forward.
