Internal Conflict

  • Chapter
Conflicts in Construction

Part of the book series: Macmillan Building and Surveying Series ((BASS))

Abstract

Having discussed in some detail the reasons behind a conflict, we must move on to examine the impact of conflict on people who are involved in conflict. Relationships between people can govern the length and the depth of any dispute arising from a conflict, but before we discuss this, we need to examine the internal reaction to conflict within a human being. This internal aspect also has a significant impact on the way a conflict will develop.
