Abstract
It’s not unknown for visitors to Korea to undergo terminal culture shock, usually due to their own failure to comprehend the people, their traditions and their ways of doing business. Unfortunately, it’s the Koreans who are often blamed for communication breakdown whilst frustrated Westerners return muttering about Oriental unwillingness to negotiate on reasonable terms. This final chapter summarises the important points presented through earlier pages in the book, to help emphasise the factors which will make business easier and any stay in Korea, short or long, more enjoyable and less stressful.
The wise blames himself, a fool grumbles to friends.
