Abstract

In this chapter we look at further skills which are particularly useful in trigonometric applications related to some of the problems involved in electrical and electronic circuits. By the end of this chapter, the reader will be able to

  • solve problems involving the sine rule and the cosine rule,

  • appreciate and apply trigonometric identities,

  • use compound and double angle formulae,

  • solve equations involving the product of sines and cosines.
