Abstract

In this chapter the topic of inheritance is described more formally than before, and the example classes which use this property are those associated with the windows on the screen and printing the diagram on a PostScript printer or a plotter understanding HPGL, the Hewlett Packard Graphics Language. Thus this chapter also describes the use of the library routines which drive the PC screen and the handling of some printers, PostScript and HPGL. The chapter also provides examples of the requirements of destructors and virtual functions.
