Abstract

‘Communication’ is a means of conveying information. Visual communication is a way of displaying information in pictorial form. Generally, the things that we see have a more lasting impression than the things that we hear. You will often find that signs and symbols are used as a means of visual communication. Their function is to convey an instant message. People immediately respond to ‘pictograms’. They present no language problems.
