Abstract

This book looks at the implications of European Community (EC) financial liberalization for three southern European countries — Greece, Portugal and Spain. Before outlining the specific contribution of the book, it is as well to set out very briefly the nature of the rapid institutional changes that are envisaged in the European financial system.
