The purpose of the lighting system on a vehicle is to:

  1. (a)

    Identify the vehicle and indicate its position.

  2. (b)

    Illuminate the road ahead.

  3. (c)

    Indicate intented change of direction or motion.;

  4. (d)

    Warn of hazard.

  5. (e)

    Providing interior vehicle lighiting.
