Abstract

The electrical/electronic system in a motor vehicle is very complex, therefore to allow an understanding of how the system works, it must be broken down into individual circuits. The individual electrical circuits fitted to light, heavy and public service vehicles may use, in some form, the items listed in the table below. For each of the items listed state its functional requirement and basic working principle.
