Abstract

If you have done a lot of interviewing, you will have made some mistakes — perhaps picked a few people who did not live up to their promise, or who were outright disasters. You will, no doubt, have rejected some good people, snapped up later by others.

His conversation usually threatened and announced more than it performed: that he fed you with a continual renovation of hope to end in a constant succession of disappointment.
