Part of the book series: Macmillan Work Out ((MCWO))

Abstract

This summary does not, of course, claim to be a complete grammar of French. It does, however, cover all the grammar normally required for the GCSE examination. The Table of Contents gives you a general indication of where to find the information you want about verbs, tenses, adjectives and so on. Many of the examples given have been taken from texts in the book. A reference such as (L4) directs you to Listening text number 4 to find the example given. The reference (10D) means that you will find the example in the Key to the Exercises for Chapter 10, Exercise D.
