Abstract

Database application packages allow you to store information and then find any part of that information quickly and without difficulty. They are therefore primarily concerned with the storage and retrieval of information in a way that can be determined by the user. The application may vary from a simple system for keeping a mailing list up-to-date, to a complex system for handling the running of an entire business.
