Abstract

This book is concerned mainly with microcomputers (see figure 1) which are sometimes called micros, desk-top computers, personal computers or PCs. The practical assignments in Parts II and III are designed to be completed using this type of computer. However, before looking into microcomputers in more detail it is worth mentioning other types
