Abstract

Facts and figures can be presented in many ways. Let’s say you were investigating the effects of transport on the environment. Information about lead in exhaust fumes of vehicles could be presented either in a table (Figure 1.1) or in a bar chart (Figure 1.2). Which is the more eyecatching?
